Dubbed "X" by its partner, Theropicus Paagen, X-19-84-42-01 is a new model of android (well, technically robot...) which uses chance programs to determine the reaction of people around it or the result of its actions.

Developed by the eccentric Professor Binz at the request of the I.S.P.F., there is some suspicion that illegal technology may have been integrated into its system, which may be the reason that Professor Binz chose to equip it with a traditional sword rather than a more efficient weapon, such as a firearm of some sort.

Theropicus Paagen

Partnered with X in an effort to provide it with a "Human" model, Thero (pronounced "Thee-roh") is not what one would call the world's greatest role model. In fact, he tends to put off reporting to the I.S.P.F. HQ in favor of playing classic video arcade games such as Diamond Quest: the Next Generation and 4-Bricks.

Though he appears to be a bit naive at times, close observation and study of Thero would perhaps reveal this common assumption to be untrue. At times he will become uncharacteristically silent, retreating within himself and ignoring the questions of those around him.

Kathiopy Pezek (k_pezek)

Head of the entire I.S.P.F., Chief Pezek has what is recognized universaly as "maternal instincts," something which causes it to be loved by many of its underlings.

Though the chief rarely has a free moment, it appears to always be able to take time out of its day in order to personally talk to Thero and give him some gentle encouragement. Pezek depends heavily on El-fay, it would never be able to get anything done if it were not for the Usako-Gi's dedication.

El-fay Mono (e_mono)

While in fact the same rank officer as Thero, El-fay Mono has far more prestige around the headquarters of the I.S.P.F. This is because she serves as a secretary for Chief Pezek, and, as such, also acts as second in command.

Possessing a somewhat hostile personality, El-fay seems to rather dislike Thero, which becomes obvious in her interactions with him. However, it would also appear that their relationship seems to resemble that of siblings rather than one of true animosity.

Even Apple

Even is a high school student who works part time as a security guard at the SpacePort. He originally worked on Space Station L-20-15, however he was transferred when he failed to prevent the cargo of one S.C. Drake from being stolen, apparently the result of his having fallen asleep on the job– something he does chronically, as he tends to study for his history tests while on duty. When last seen, Even was stationed at a SpacePort in the H-13-67 Space Station.

Even's main purpose is to serve as a running gag (and also prevent the author from having to come up with new character designs, but let us ignore that...).

Ohkiiphehnohkkiisuamp

Ohkiiphehnohkkiisuamp, or the CFT, as it is called by Thero and X (most people, feeling this to be disrespectful, call it Ohkii'), was last stationed on the restricted planet of P-01 somewhere on the edges of civilized space. As it feels that neither Thero nor X are likely to deal properly with any animals they may come into contact with in the future, the CFT has requested that it be assigned to Thero's team. Feeling that a "mature" voice would do the team good, Chief Pezek has granted this request.

Octavius

Your standard ten-year-old, Tavi ("Tah-vie") travels the galaxy with his older (half) brother, Dem. Bouncy and cheerful, Tavi is always one to make a person smile, and quickly befriends Thero when he meets the older Human on an undercover mission for the I.S.P.F.

Demetrius

Dem is a loner, a trait he picked up from his father, and as such generally avoids civilization- one of the primary exceptions being BioCon, which he attends every year religiously (he is an amature zoologist). He lost his right eye in an unfortunate encounter on one of his previous expeditions, and now wears a replacement that his girlfriend built for him out of scraps.
