Date: spring, 2008 End of this past winter, I graduated from UCLA. Since I suddenly was no longer in school and thus no longer subject to the whims of the quarter system, my parents took me along when they went to Maui over my mother's spring break. It was nice – I painted several pictures and had a good time just relaxing before coming back to the mainland and buckling down to work full-time. This was literally right next to Hana Highway – there was a bridge over the creek that came down from it. We parked to the side, went up the path, and I painted the pretty waterfall while having a good time pointing out the crawdads to my father. |
