across from the Hortus Botanicus Medium: transparent watercolors Date: 07.08.07 My mother tends to start to drift off around one or two in the afternoon (even when standing up), so when she began to do that in the desert greenhouse at the Hortus Botanicus (a sort of arboretum in Amsterdam), I found a nice corner to sit down and paint. Cars are annoying and move in and out at random times and if I did not paint all the cars that were there when I finished, I at least did the ones that were there when I started. The same cannot be said for the bicycles >.>
