Date: 08.11.03 I've found that the only way I can get any practice figure-drawing these days is to copy photographs. This drawing is based on a photo of my brother carrying me in Death Valley when I was ten. I've had some people complain that there should be more of a background, but this is the actual background (there weren't even any clouds in the sky behind us!). This is actually a first for me. My mom was complaining that I was drawing too many anime pictures, so I decided that I would draw a realistic picture to make her happy. However, at the same time, I really wanted to draw a picture for my manga, SpaceHunter_X, using the pose from this photograph! Finally, I decided to go ahead and draw a realistic picture using the photograph as a base. And voilá! A realistic picture of X and Thero from SpaceHunter_X ^_^ (Woowoo! I am X!) |
