Date: March, 2007 My first project for the intro painting class I took last quarter. It's about 30"x40", very heavy, and the second painting I'd ever done on stretched canvas (I stretched it myself! :D). We were supposed to paint some sort of abstracted image, and I'm really a realism painter, mostly, so I kinda just took a photograph my mom had taken in Zion and painted it using violets, reds, and yellows. It... took a lot of time o.O; That's me holding it up, wee. |
